Welcome To The Wilderness!

 

We have one of the largest outdoor spaces in the area, The Wilderness! A natural outdoor environment accessed through a secret garden gate that contains 24 naturally seeded Ash Trees and 3 established Silver Birch trees as well as many other diverse vegetations. The trees provide a beautiful natural canopy in the summer months and helps track the seasons through Spring, Autumn and Winter.
 
The Wilderness is utilized throughout the day and offers further opportunities for all children from 3 months to preschool to have fun educational sessions that suit every need and ability. There is no such thing as bad weather! The children will learn about seasons, weather, nature and all of the other lovely things associated with the outside world.
 
The Wilderness helps enhance movement and understanding that is supported through play. It provides a great opportunity to get messy in our mud kitchens, sand sheds and water stations and learn about the world around us by growing vegetables, fruits and flowers.
